Manzac Ferme is a ‘CL’ style caravan, motorhome and camping site with 6 large, levelled hard standing pitches, as well as a limited number of peaceful tent sites, all set in 6 acres of wooded countryside. Manzac is designed for our guests to soak up the tranquillity of this special place. We are open March to October.

The conifer plantation to the north of the site and down to the ‘category 1’ River Bandiat below, are our own, through which our visitors are welcome to stroll and soak up the heady atmosphere of this heaven sent place.

Within the natural broadleaf woodland, by the side of the quiet river Bandiat, we offer a very limited number of stunningly located tent pitches, which also have access to power.

The showers and toilets have been frequently described as “the best we have ever seen or used”, they are built in an insulated unit. The showers are thermostatically controlled and unlike on some sites; the hot water supply is not metered.

The toilets are UK style low flush items and the whole building is automatically ventilated as well as being heated during the cooler months of the year. We also have laundry facilities available for a small fee, plus we offer grey and black water dump point facilities into our on site septic tank system. Note that as this is into a "fosse eau", or septic tank, we can only accept bio-degradeable toilet chemicals, such as the Blue Bio products. A dump point for non septic tank friendly chemical based toilets can be found in Nontron (7km away).

Our inclusive charges make allowance for 6 amp power supply via euro style plugs with each point having it’s own overload circuit breaker. The electricity was installed and is monitored by a qualified electrician and we have gone to great lengths to ensure the polarity of the supply is correct for UK built caravans/motorhomes, however you will need a Euro adaptor. A standard 25mtr. extension cable is more than adequate.

For safety and general ambience reasons there are low level lights on top of the power supply boxes that cast a gentle light over the pitch area of the site, there are also further fully automated lights on the rear walls of the Ferme.

Below the main caravan site area, by our tent area, gently moves the serene ‘category 1’ River Bandiat, on which we have in excess of 200 mtrs. of river bank. For those wishing to fish, there are bream, roach, carp, trout, gudgeon and pike.

The drives and pitches are all covered in pink granite chippings, they make an ideal place to have a game of boule whilst enjoying the odd glass or two of wine!

We also welcome well behaved and controlled pets onto the site.

Gas fired barbeques for outdoor cooking are welcomed. As we are in a densely wooded area charcoal barbeques are forbidden by law for your own safety.

CHARGES: The inclusive pitch charge of €22 per night allows for a single unit (caravan or tent) with 2 occupants. This charge covers 6 amp electrics, showers, local taxes etc. There is a €4 charge per additional adult, to a maximum of 4 per site.
